DOM.RF has put up for auction the main building of an early 19th-century arms factory in Izhevsk. The starting price of the lot is 50.79 million rubles, applications are accepted until October 26. The competition will take place on October 30.

The area of the historic building is 21.1 thousand sq. m, and a 0.94-hectare plot will be leased. The compositional center is a 50-meter multi-tiered tower with chimes in the Russian classicism style. The building was constructed in 1811–1820, a fire in 1834 damaged the interiors and the tower, which were restored by 1844. Since the 1990s, the building has been almost unused but remains a symbol of Izhevsk.

The winner is obliged to carry out restoration within 7 years.

Nearby are the city center, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and the "Izhmash" museum. Tourist traffic to Udmurtia reached 1.9 million people in 2025, and the scale of the building allows for opening a hotel, loft, or business center here.
