Belarus has become a significant source of gasoline for the Russian market amid supply disruptions within the country. In June-August, imports of Belarusian fuel increased to 610 thousand tons against 189 thousand tons in March-May, and its share in the Russian market could have increased from 2% to 6%.

The September figure was even more significant. According to a Kommersant source in the industry, Russia could receive about 205 thousand tons of Belarusian gasoline in a month. For comparison, in September 2025, supplies amounted to about 45 thousand tons — approximately 4.5 times less.

In total, over nine months, imports of Belarusian gasoline could exceed 1.05 million tons. At the same time, Belarusian refineries are also increasing diesel fuel supplies: in September, they could reach 246 thousand tons.

However, Belarus's capabilities are limited. Gasoline supplies to Russia are unlikely to sustainably exceed 600 thousand tons per quarter.

The Novopolotsk and Mozyr refineries together produce about 3.5 million tons of gasoline per year, but 1.2–1.3 million tons of this volume are required by the Belarusian market itself.
