Rosatom expects to increase its total revenue to 5.5 trillion rubles by 2030, with more than half of this amount to be provided by technological sovereignty projects. Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the state corporation, announced the new target on September 28 at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. 

By the end of 2025, Rosatom's open-part revenue exceeded 3 trillion rubles. Likhachev reported that, according to preliminary results for the first nine months of 2026, open-part revenue was 200 billion rubles higher, foreign revenue was 700 million dollars higher, and revenue from new products increased by 100 billion rubles.

The main growth in the future should be ensured not only by traditional areas. Likhachev linked the achievement of the target revenue to technological sovereignty projects that Rosatom is developing in various technological and industrial fields.

New areas being developed by Rosatom include the production of batteries and energy storage systems, additive technologies, robotics, digital solutions, charging infrastructure, and electromobility. Separately, the state corporation links revenue growth to the development of new products and entry into new markets.

At the same time, the state corporation plans to maintain large investments. According to Likhachev, the current investment program amounts to 1.7 trillion rubles. Currently, Rosatom is building 18 reactors in Russia and another 28 abroad — a total of 46. Separately, the head of the state corporation reported that the order portfolio includes 45 power units in 13 countries.

Rosatom sees a separate growth reserve in increasing efficiency. Likhachev announced the goal of annually increasing labor productivity by 12%, while simultaneously reducing costs: by 5% this year, then by approximately 3% annually, so that by 2030, the cumulative reduction reaches 15%. According to him, this should increase the profitability and competitiveness of the state corporation.

Earlier, Pervy Tekhnichesky wrote that in March 2026, Rosatom's revenue in the open part exceeded 3 trillion rubles by the end of 2025, and half of this figure, according to Likhachev, was formed by areas created in recent years.
