The Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) will supply 40 new buses to the municipal carrier of Vladivostok. 15 units of the MAZ 206 model are already on their way to the capital of Primorye, another 25 MAZ 303 vehicles are being delivered in stages, the company's press service reported.

MAZ buses have already proven themselves on Vladivostok's city routes, noted Deputy Head of Administration Maxim Akulshin. The contract provides for phased delivery: the first batch of 15 model 206 vehicles has been sent to the city, the remaining 25 model 303 buses will arrive on schedule.

MAZ is the flagship of Belarusian automotive industry, producing about 500 models of cargo, passenger, and special equipment, including 15 models of buses, trolleybuses, and electric buses. For Vladivostok, this means fleet renewal without dependence on Western brands.
