Most Russians (71%) leave their account after deleting an application from their smartphone. One in four mistakenly believes that refusing to use the program automatically erases their personal data. This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey by "Alfastrakhovanie".

At the same time, 44% of Russians know that user information can be stored on the company's server. Only 7% of respondents requested to delete their data, and 38% never thought about it.

Analysts found that 64% of survey participants have accounts in services they haven't logged into for more than a year. A third of respondents have more than 10 unused accounts.

Most often, Russians provide services with their phone number and email (90%). 78% left their home address for product delivery. 72% provided bank card details.

The survey materials also note that one in three provided passport data through websites, and 18% provided documents for their children. Despite providing confidential information, only 2% of survey participants carefully read the consent to personal data processing.

More than 10% review some provisions of the document. The rest immediately accept the terms but do not know what exactly they are agreeing to. However, 76% of Russians are afraid of passport and bank data leaks (73%).

A total of 2.5 thousand people living in different regions of the country took part in the study.
