Gazprombank Mobile has launched a tourist eSIM for trips abroad. A virtual SIM card can be issued in advance and mobile internet can be connected immediately upon arrival in another country — without purchasing a local physical SIM.

The service operates in more than 150 countries. The user selects the destination, trip duration, and traffic volume, after which they receive a QR code to install the eSIM on their smartphone. Packages from 1 to 50 GB are available for a period of 3 to 30 days.

There are also unlimited options for a period of one to 30 days. However, there is a limitation here: up to 2 GB is provided at maximum speed each day, after which access conditions change depending on the tariff.

The tourist eSIM does not have its own number — it is intended only for mobile internet and does not support regular calls and SMS. For those who also need voice communication and messages abroad, the operator suggests using standard roaming.

The service is only available on smartphones with eSIM support. This new SIM is primarily designed for those who need quick access to maps, messengers, taxis, and other online services during their trip without searching for a local operator after arrival.
