The boiler houses of the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the city of Tsiolkovsky, Amur Region, have been connected to the gas supply system. The gasification facilities were launched via teleconference with the participation of President Vladimir Putin and Gazprom Management Committee Chairman Alexey Miller.

Gas is supplied to the boiler houses from the inter-settlement gas pipelines GRS Uglegorsk — Vostochny Cosmodrome, with a total length of 61.8 km. They were built by Gazprom under the regional gas supply and gasification development program for 2021–2025.
Five boiler houses, previously operating on diesel fuel, have been converted to gas. They supply heat to the launch and technical complexes of the cosmodrome and life support facilities.
Under the gasification program for the Amur Region for 2026–2030, it is planned to build about 310 km of gas pipelines. This will allow gasifying 26 boiler houses and about 20.8 thousand households.
