The object is very important, we have a problem there in the work of contractors. Contracts with them were concluded in previous periods. We plan to complete the construction of the Vostochny Cosmodrome by the fall of 2026, but, God willing, we will complete it by the end of this year.
Dmitry Bakanov, head of Roscosmos

The Vostochny Cosmodrome is one of the largest infrastructure projects of Russia in the space industry. After completion of construction, it will provide launches of three types of carrier rockets: the heavy Angara-A5, the proven Soyuz-2, and a new light-class rocket, which is currently under development. The site is designed for both cargo and manned missions, which will expand the country's capabilities in space exploration.

Three independent launch complexes are being formed on the territory of the cosmodrome. Each of them will be adapted to a specific type of rocket, which will allow launches on a tight schedule and minimize downtime.
