Multifunctional drones "Orlan-10E" and "Orlan-30", developed by specialists of the "Special Technology Center" (STC), are already being used in Africa. This was stated by an official representative of the center on the sidelines of the international exhibition Africa Aerospace and Defence 2026 in South Africa.

According to him, several countries on the African continent have a high interest in Russian drones and electronic warfare (EW) systems. STC products have proven themselves reliable even when operated in difficult climatic conditions, the organization's representative concluded.
Fixed-wing drones "Orlan-10E" and "Orlan-30" were originally created for reconnaissance and fire adjustment. However, they are also equipped with a warhead for precision strikes.
The Africa Aerospace and Defence exhibition started on September 16 at the Waterkloof Centurion Air Force Base in Pretoria. Rosoboronexport is exhibiting almost 500 products, including 30 samples of military equipment.
