The SPC "Ushkuynik" has released new information about the light unmanned boat "Skorlupa". The center's CEO, Alexey Chadayev, shared details about the boat's design. According to him, ten such boats, when disassembled, can fit into the cargo bed of one "Gazelle" vehicle.

The boat is made of water-repellent plywood and is designed for maximum ease of assembly: it takes about four hours and a regular screwdriver to build one hull. 

The main interest lies not only in the BEC's own strike payload but also in its role as a mobile platform for drones. "Skorlupa" can carry four aerial drones controlled via fiber optics. Earlier, "Ushkuynik" already reported on tests of launching "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" from this boat in the Black Sea. The developer indicates that the platform itself can travel up to 200 km and carry up to 250 kg of payload.

According to Chadayev, four communication units are installed inside the boat, and control can be carried out from the KVN remote. The design allows the boat to be stopped, the hull opened, and the drones inside released, after which control is transferred to the aerial vehicles. The developer emphasizes the low cost of "Skorlupa" compared to more complex marine unmanned platforms.

Earlier, Alexey Chadayev announced that in less than two years, deliveries of fiber-optic FPV drones "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" reached millions of units.

In parallel, SPC "Ushkuynik" is preparing to showcase the "Zhivoder" strike drone, capable of stealthily waiting for its target in the grass or by the road.
