The Russian electric car "Atom" is being prepared for an expansion of its digital capabilities. By the end of 2026, the car should receive automatic parking, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, and more smartphone control functions. And in 2027, developers plan to add over 100 new features, including smart home integration.

Kama company has already released the production version of the software for "Atom" and presented its development plan for 2026–2027. The first cars began to be handed over to owners in the summer of 2026.

Currently, the cars run on production software, which provides over 500 user features. These include driver assistance systems, augmented reality navigation, voice control, and connectivity to online services.

The next major update is scheduled for the end of 2026. The electric car will receive automatic parking, adaptive cruise control, and keyless entry. Smartphone control capabilities will also be expanded. In addition, developers will add new voice assistant functions, video services, and additional AR content.

In 2027, the list of "Atom" features should grow by more than 100 items. It will include seven additional ADAS systems, a Plug&Charge function for automatic identification during charging, smart home integration, as well as new multimedia and navigation solutions.

Changes will also affect the mobile application. It will enable remote car control and cabin preparation functions. Owners will not have to install new features manually, as updates will be downloaded remotely via Wi-Fi or mobile network, the company said.
