"Kalashnikov" presented a modernized "Skat 350M" drone with a new observation system – a thermal imager and a highly sensitive camera now operate on a single gyro-stabilized platform. The updated device was showcased at the international exhibition "Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition" in Kazan.

The new configuration expands the drone's capabilities for night operations. The thermal imager allows detecting objects by thermal radiation, while the sensitive camera can capture sources of visible light. The combined sensor setup helps the operator continue observing an object regardless of the time of day.

As an example, "Kalashnikov" cites a car with headlights on but an already cooled engine. In this case, the thermal imager will not receive a pronounced thermal signal from the engine, but the highly sensitive camera will be able to detect the headlights. Similarly, the device can spot the beam of a flashlight held by a person who needs to be found.

"Skat 350M" is an aircraft-type drone based on the Supercam S350. The complex is designed for long flights and can use interchangeable target equipment for observation in optical and infrared ranges. According to published specifications, the maximum takeoff weight of the device is 15 kg, wingspan is 3.2 m, flight duration is up to four hours, and speed ranges from 72 to 120 km/h.
