The brewing company "Baltika" has implemented the domestic software ExactFarming for satellite monitoring of malting barley crops. The platform is already operating in 69 partner farms in 16 regions of the country, CNews was informed by the company.

Previously, "Baltika" also used satellite monitoring, but data from various sources had to be collected manually, which slowed down decision-making. Now all processes are automated: from planning field inspections to controlling compliance with agro-technological schemes. The system identifies stressed field areas by vegetation indices, predicts yields and risks, including crop diseases.
As noted by the company, the effectiveness of field management directly depends on data accuracy. The transition to Russian software allows for controlling raw material quality at all stages and promptly responding to changes.
