The Russian dry cargo ship "Omskiy-107" ran aground off the coast of Şile, Turkey, after being damaged in an attack near Novorossiysk. The 108-meter vessel, flying the Russian flag, drifted in the Black Sea and eventually ended up on Alacalı Beach. This was reported by the Turkish agency DHA.

As the dry cargo ship approached the shore, local residents reported it to the authorities. The coast guard was dispatched to the scene, cordoned off the area, and began inspecting the vessel. According to DHA, after drifting, the "Omskiy-107" reached the coast of Alacalı and ran aground.

The crew abandoned the ship in lifeboats after the attack. Upon inspection, it was found that the captain's bridge was severely damaged and burned out. The DHA report does not mention any casualties.
