The new Russian complex for suppressing the Starlink satellite signal affects not the spacecraft themselves, but the reception capabilities of consumers. This was announced by retired Colonel Viktor Litovkin.

According to him, the first test versions are already being introduced into the troops. Litovkin clarified that the satellites themselves are not affected in any way.

The basic characteristics of the complex are already known: six towed modules with rotary antennas, operation in eight bands 62.5 MHz wide each, and a declared suppression zone of up to 20 km².

According to Dmitry Kuzyakin, General Designer of TsKBR, the system literally "blinds" satellites with parasitic signals, depriving them of the ability to receive data from ground subscribers.
