Kalashnikov Concern shipped a large batch of 30-mm GSh-301 aircraft cannons to customers for equipping Russian Air Force aircraft, the company's press service reported. The product, unofficially known in aviation as the "ballerina" for its lightness and high rate of fire, is used to equip MiG-29, MiG-29K/KUB, Su-27, Su-30, Su-35 fighters and Su-34 front-line bombers.

According to the concern, the GSh-301 surpasses its counterparts in accuracy, dispersion, and rate of fire. According to military experts, the cannon still remains one of the best in its class in the world. The production uses the latest high-tech equipment and high-alloy steel grades, which ensures the high quality of the product.

Kalashnikov Concern is the only Russian manufacturer of aircraft cannons. The enterprise has already begun manufacturing the final batch within the framework of the state defense order, which will be delivered by the end of 2026, and is ready to increase production in the interests of the state.
