A Russian service robot, which is 3-4 times cheaper than imported ones, was presented at the Technoprom forum, which opened in Novosibirsk on August 26. The android greeted visitors to the exhibition at the stand of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

Alexander Sakhatsky, CEO of "Modesta" (developer), stated that in China, robots are mainly created that "jump or put on a show". Russian engineers, on the contrary, created a machine useful for humans.
It has a navigation base that allows it to move, for example, to accompany clients, patients, and visitors to various institutions.
Unlike many Chinese robots, the android from "Modesta" is capable of operating autonomously without operator support. The robot is equipped with several microphones (a microphone array in one housing) that record external sounds.
Engineers have integrated a neural network module into it, allowing it to learn based on dialogue with a human. Continuous operation time is up to 20 hours.
