The Russian-Ukrainian team Team Spirit has become the winner of the main Dota 2 tournament – The International – for the third time. In the final of the competition in Shanghai, the team defeated the Russian team Parivision with a score of 3:2.

Previously, the team won the championship title in 2021 and 2023. European teams OG and Team Liquid have won The International twice each.

Team Spirit included Russians Denis Sigitov (Lari), Magomed Khalilov (Collapse), Alexey Kosmynin (not me), Alexander Filin (rue), and Ukrainian Ilya Mulyarchuk (Yatoro).

Third place in the tournament was taken by the Russian team Team Yandex.

The total prize pool of The International was 3.344 million dollars. Team Spirit received about 1.4 million dollars for the victory, Parivision – 434 thousand dollars, Team Yandex – 300 thousand dollars.

The International has been held since 2011. Until 2023, the tournament's prize pool was the largest in esports, but it was later reduced due to the game developer Valve's decision to change the system for replenishing prize money, which was based on user donations.

Also, the Team Spirit Counter-Strike 2 roster won the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, defeating FUT Esports in the grand final with a score of 3:1 on maps. For first place, the team received 600 thousand dollars.
