The Tor surface-to-air missile system, designed to destroy aerial targets, becomes a target for drones itself after completing its combat mission. The reason is its engine, heated to 100 degrees Celsius, which is easily detected by a thermal imaging camera.

The Tor driver-mechanic with the call sign Kardan noted that the crew uses a special anti-thermal imaging coating.
The engine heats up upon arrival at the garage. The temperature is over 100 degrees. We cover it with an anti-drone blanket so that drones cannot detect it with a thermal imager, so that the vehicle does not emit heat and remains stealthy.
Additional protection for the system is provided by a net over the vehicle, designed to counter small UAVs.
At the same time, the system itself is capable of engaging aerial targets directly while moving. Its radar systems monitor the airspace at a range of over 30 km, and its ammunition allows it to simultaneously fire at 4 targets.
