Samussky Shipyard and Ship Repair Plant has completed the construction of a series of Project 1960M barges, delivering the last vessel, BP-2013, to the customer, as reported by the press service of the Russian Classification Society. Construction was carried out under the technical supervision of RKO at all stages.
The barge has a length of 87.12 meters, a width of 16.74 meters, and a board height of 3.3 meters. Its carrying capacity reaches 2500 tons with a full displacement of 2988 tons. The gross tonnage is 1774 registered tons. The vessels are assigned the “M3.0” class and are intended for the transportation of bulk and general cargo.
The completion of the series means the replenishment of the river fleet with modern tonnage. Such barges are in demand on inland waterways for the delivery of sand, crushed stone, and other bulk cargo, and RKO control guarantees their compliance with safety requirements. Fleet renewal is part of a systematic effort to replace outdated vessels.

In April 2025, the enterprise was building barges under contracts worth over 3 billion rubles — in particular, the dry cargo ramp barge-platform UTK 3004 of Project RDB66.68MA with a carrying capacity of 2500 tons, intended for the shipping company "R-Trans TK", was rolled out. Then, in June, at the same plant, the next barge of this series was launched — with a ramp with a lifting capacity of up to 70 tons, allowing it to operate on unequipped shores.
