Protective shelters have begun to be built for MiG-31BM interceptor fighters. Footage from one of the Russian Aerospace Forces airbases appeared online.

It is a structure made of metal sandwich panels, connected by bolts, specified the Telegram channel "Voenny Osvedomitel".

It should be noted that such shelters began to be built relatively recently. The tactic of raising combat vehicles into the air in case of information about a drone threat was also used.

In total, the Russian Aerospace Forces have about 300 MiG-31 interceptor fighters of various modifications in service, noted the Telegram channel AviaComments.

Military analyst Sergey Marzhetsky recently proposed transforming the MiG-31BM into one of the air defense elements against drones and low-observable "Flamingo" missiles. The key factor will be the N007M "Zaslon-M" onboard radars, which were dismantled from the MiG-31K version.
