On Builder's Day, "Ob'yasnyaem.rf" reported on the largest projects of recent years, implemented under the national project "Infrastructure for Life." Annually, 13 million industry workers commission over 100 million square meters of housing, while simultaneously erecting iconic structures across the country.
Among the flagship constructions are:
- the "Lomonosov" innovation cluster – the flagship site of the Moscow State University scientific and technical center, covering an area of 65 thousand square meters;
- the Galiasgar Kamal Theater in Kazan with a cultural space of almost 8 hectares, a garden, and a pier on the shore of Lake Kaban;
- the "Planet Ocean" museum in Kaliningrad – a three-block building with an area of about 10 thousand square meters, featuring a 42-meter glass sphere and 29 aquariums;
- the M-12 "Vostok" highway from Moscow to Kazan, extended to Yekaterinburg – travel time has been almost halved;
- a perinatal center in Donetsk with 140 beds, capable of accommodating up to 7 thousand newborns per year;
- the "Mayak" park in Magadan on the shore of Nagaeva Bay, covering an area of almost 10 hectares;
- the Cheryomukha River Boulevard in Rybinsk with a two-level pedestrian route;
- the Terebenka River embankment in Chekhov – a landscaped recreation area with a beach, pedestrian and cycling paths, a children's area, and exercise equipment;
- "New Chersonesos" in Sevastopol – the world's only temple-park with museums of Christianity, Crimea and Novorossiya, antiquity, and Byzantium.
The national project has transformed from a mechanism for supporting the industry into a tool for reassembling the urban environment – from science and culture to medicine and transport.
