Shipbuilders of the Khabarovsk Shipyard laid down sections of two landing stages, "Igor Dyomin" and "Vasily Zharov," of project R4200 for the needs of AO "Khabarovskvodtrans." This was reported by the company's press service.
The vessels were named after residents of Khabarovsk Krai — Igor Dyomin, recipient of the Order of Courage, and Vasily Zharov, a foreman at KhSZ.
This project was specifically developed for the Amur River and for embarking and disembarking passengers in the Amur's wind and wave conditions. The areas where these landing stages operate experience severe wave conditions and wind.
Landing stages are non-self-propelled floating structures designed for mooring transit and local line vessels. The project documentation was developed by specialists from OOO "Design Group Rikoshet."
In January 2026, the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) transferred KhSZ to the ownership of Khabarovsk Krai. The construction of the R4200 project landing stages is the first large order for the shipyard in the last 3 years.
