The Geran-4 Seeker attack drone has received a new optoelectronic reconnaissance system that expands its capabilities for searching, tracking, and recognizing targets. The modernization includes the installation of a panoramic camera with a 180-degree field of view, Dahua TiOC cameras, and a computing complex based on Nvidia Jetson Orin.

The new optoelectronic module provides 360-degree situational awareness and initial terrain assessment even during flight. The acquired image is transmitted in real-time to the ground control station, and machine vision algorithms automatically highlight potential targets, reducing the operator's workload.

The complex includes two Dahua TiOC cameras operating in both visible and infrared ranges. This allows the drone to maintain effectiveness at night, as well as in conditions of smoke and limited visibility. The panoramic system not only allows for reconnaissance but also performs visual navigation in the final section of the route.

The use of the Nvidia Jetson Orin computing platform ensures video stream processing directly on board. The software analyzes the image in real-time, detects stationary and moving objects, and then helps the operator to identify priority targets faster and improve aiming accuracy.

In addition to target search, the modernized complex can be used to confirm strike results and adjust the route without involving additional reconnaissance assets. This allows one drone to combine the functions of reconnaissance and target engagement.
