AvtoVAZ has expanded the equipment of the sports version of Lada Vesta Sport. The car with a 147-hp engine received automatic climate control and the Lada Connect Start telematics system. The first cars with new options were released in early July, and deliveries to dealerships will begin in September.
The equipment of the updated Lada Vesta Sport will be based on the maximum serial Techno trim level. Climate control automatically adjusts the temperature in the cabin and distributes air flows using three sensors.
The system can be controlled using special rotary knobs. They display the temperature, air flow direction, and intensity of the climate control system. All parameters are also displayed on the 10-inch screen of the standard multimedia system.
Another novelty is the Lada Connect Start telematics system. It allows the owner to remotely receive information about the car's condition via the "Mir Lada" mobile application.
Using the application, you can check the fuel level, the car's location, engine temperature, battery charge level, and also find out the status of the door and trunk locks.
Despite the appearance of new features, the cost of Lada Vesta Sport is expected to remain at the same level.
Under the hood of the LADA Vesta Sport is a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine, based on the 122-hp 1.8Evo engine. After modifications, it develops 147 horsepower and works with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The sedan accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds, and the station wagon in 9.9 seconds. The car's top speed is 192–195 km/h.
Previously, automatic climate control and the factory telematics system "Lada Connect Start" appeared in Lada Vesta and Aura.
It was also reported that sales of Lada Vesta fell by more than a third in the first half of the year. Demand is shifting to Lada Granta and Haval Jolion, although the car market as a whole is gaining momentum.
