A new unmanned aerial vehicle, the K-8 "Dvushka," developed by a company from Novorossiysk, has begun to be used in the combat zone. It was first presented at the "Army-2024" forum, where the development won a competition among 900 participants and received funding for serial production.

The drone is designed with an aircraft-like configuration, making it a difficult target for electronic warfare systems. A key feature is its dual-circuit detonation system, which prevents accidental detonation during launch, including hand-launching. The operator disarms the munition remotely, only after crossing the line of contact. Hence the name "Dvushka" (meaning "two-piece" or "two-circuit").

The drone can carry a payload of 1 to 5 kg and reach speeds of up to 150 km/h. Preparation for launch takes only a few minutes. The device is capable of striking tactical depths of up to 15–30 km. As of mid-July, UAV crews of the "Zapad" (West) group are already using the "Dvushka" to destroy strongholds, armored vehicles, and personnel.
