The operation of the gas filling station of the "Oktan-K" company near Yekaterinburg was suspended for 90 days. The reason was violations of industrial safety identified during an inspection by Rostekhnadzor and the transport prosecutor's office.

An unusual discovery by the inspectors was an underground liquefied gas reservoir, which was used by the enterprise without mandatory registration. In fact, the tank was operating, but officially it did not exist as a hazardous production facility.

In addition, specialists found equipment without the necessary documents and confirmation of safe operation. Some devices lacked the results of technical inspection, as well as repair and maintenance schedules.

The operation of such stations requires mandatory equipment registration, regular inspections of the technical condition of tanks, leak tightness control, as well as strict accounting of repair and diagnostic deadlines.
