Industrial NK-37 engines have accumulated a total of 230,130 hours of operation. This was reported by the press service of the United Engine Corporation in an infographic.

ODK clarified that the power unit's capacity is 25.5 MW. The overhaul life is 25 thousand hours, and the assigned life cycle resource is 100 thousand hours.

Recall that NK-37 was created based on the NK-32 aircraft engine, which is installed on the Tu-160 "White Swan" strategic bomber-missile carrier.

ODK-Kuznetsov designers took a highly efficient aircraft gas generator as a basis and supplemented it with a free power turbine to drive the generator.

ODK is also considering the possibility of creating mobile gas turbine power plants with a capacity of 25 and 32 MW based on NK-37.
