The Voronezh concern "Sozvezdie" has developed a new multi-layered protection system against drones for mobile communication nodes and tanks. The protective dome unfolds directly above the vehicle and does not interfere with antenna operation.

The first level of protection is a metal frame with mesh screens around the perimeter of the equipment. It is designed to absorb the impact of FPV drones and loitering munitions, reducing the risk of damage to expensive communication equipment.

The second level is made in the form of a radio-transparent hemispherical dome. It is formed by special frame antennas and protective awnings that are raised using hydraulic manipulators. If necessary, the system can deploy a full dome or only a part of it.

All operations are performed remotely from inside the vehicle. The crew does not need to go outside even during the deployment of the complex under the threat of drone attack.

At the same time, the "Sozvezdie" concern continues legal proceedings with the Russian Ministry of Defence over a claim for 95.4 million rubles.
