Sberbank has launched Russia's largest service for finding gas stations where fuel is highly likely to be available. According to the credit institution, the platform covers 23 thousand gas stations and operates based on anonymized data on purchases from over 100 million customers.

The service is available in the web version of the bank's mobile application in the "For Life" section. Information is updated automatically as new payment data arrives, allowing drivers to assess which gas stations currently have fuel.

T-Bank launched a similar map covering over 20 thousand stations. For each gas station, the time of the last purchase and the relevance of the information are displayed.

Earlier, Yandex opened an interactive map with information on fuel availability and queues for all users of Yandex Go and the Yandex Zapravki application.

The banks' initiatives are not just digital services, but a tool to reduce market excitement. A driver, seeing the real fuel situation, stops rushing between gas stations in search of gasoline, which reduces queues and artificial demand.
