The Uralvagonzavod Concern (part of Rostec) is expanding its network of "Elli" electric charging stations to 25 locations in Russian cities. As TASS was informed by the concern's press service at "Innoprom-2026", the charging stations will be operational in Ishimbay and Krasnodar by the end of the year. The first stations are already operating in Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Tagil, and Omsk.

The "Elli" stations produced by NPO Electromashina (part of UVZ) are not just charging columns. The complexes are equipped with an intelligent system featuring video analytics, environmental monitoring, and free Wi-Fi. At the exhibition, the concern for the first time showcased a prototype of an autonomous mobile platform with a robotic manipulator, integrated into a single complex with a charging station. This solution automates the recharging of unmanned vehicles directly at the production site.

The plant, known for its armored vehicles, is systematically occupying the niche of civilian charging infrastructure. For cities, these are smart stations capable not only of powering electric vehicles but also of monitoring air quality. For industry, it's a ready-made module for robotic logistics. The conversion of the defense giant transforms a charging station into a digital hub.
