Over 100,000 IT competency certificates have been issued to users since the launch of a special platform on Gosuslugi. The document can be used for employment.

The project is implemented by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development and hh.ru. Users take tests for free, after which the certificate is saved in their personal account on Gosuslugi.

Currently, 21 IT competencies can be confirmed on the platform. For seven areas, theoretical tests and practical tasks are provided. For another 14 skills, only testing is required.

Residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and Sverdlovsk Oblast are most actively obtaining certificates.

Current specialists account for 63% of the issued documents. Another 21% were received by representatives of other professions who decided to confirm their digital skills. The share of students was 16%, according to the Ministry of Digital Development.

Certificates allow employers to consider the verification results when evaluating candidates.
