Russia to get 6 new domestic Jeland crossovers

Jeland plans to assemble vehicles at AGR sites in Shushary and Kaluga

The new Russian brand Jeland plans to expand its model range to six crossovers by the end of 2026. Currently, the compact J6 is already being produced at the AGR plant in Shushary, near St. Petersburg. "Avtonovosti dnya" learned about the company's plans during a visit to the enterprise.

According to Andrey Chirkov, Jeland's operational director, the future lineup will be divided into two parts. The J-series will include three crossovers. The first – the compact J6 – is already on sale. Following this, the mid-size J7 and the flagship full-size J8 are being prepared for serial production. These models will be produced at the AGR holding's plant in Shushary, near St. Petersburg.

The Jeland C-series will also consist of three models. Two of them will be analogues of the Omoda C5 and Omoda C7 crossovers, already familiar to Russians. In general, this lineup will include mid-size and full-size SUVs belonging to the C- and D-segments. According to preliminary information, their production is planned to be organized at the former Volkswagen plant, now owned by AGR, in Kaluga.

Serial production of the first model of the new Russian premium brand Esteo – the mid-size SUV MX – has already begun at the AGR plant in Shushary, St. Petersburg. This is an analogue of the Chinese hybrid model Exlantix ET5 from Exeed, which entered the domestic market last autumn.
