Russian banks once again launched a brief assault on the US App Store. Disguised applications from T-Bank and Sber temporarily surpassed ChatGPT in the ranking of the most popular programs, but by the time of publication, they had already been removed.

Under the name Toastmas, a new T-Bank application was hidden. Family Online turned out to be a fresh version of Sber, which appeared in the Apple store a day earlier under the name "Family Online".

For T-Bank, this is an established scheme. Previously, the mobile bank appeared in the App Store as VibroGym App, Clanstrix, EasyCatch Sounder, U Wheels, DocStorage, and Freelance Case. Such applications usually lasted about a day or slightly longer, but during this time, they managed to accumulate millions of downloads.

In this race, banks are playing against the clock: users need to download or update the application before Apple removes it from the store. Therefore, new versions must be tracked through official bank channels – the window can close on the same day.
