High-speed passenger hydrofoil vessel "Kolva" prepared for navigation on the Kama River

Project L390 vessel built at the "Paritet" shipyard in the Yaroslavl region

Shipbuilders of the "Paritet" shipyard have completed the construction of the high-speed passenger vessel "Kolva" (Project L390), intended for operation on the Kama River in the Perm region. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The hull of the "Kolva" motor ship is made of aluminum alloy. Its bow section houses a salon with 18 seats.

The vessel is equipped with 2 outboard gasoline engines with a total power of 662 kW.

To achieve the design speed of 29 knots, a unloading device, structurally a hydrofoil, is provided in the bow underwater part.

  • Width — 4.1 m
  • Board height — 1.2 m
  • Draft — 0.5 m

Project L390 was developed by the St. Petersburg design bureau "FORSS Technologies". Construction was carried out by order of the Ministry of Transport of the Perm Krai.

The "Kolva" motor ship will be transferred to the Perm River Shipping Company for operation. This series of high-speed vessels may be extended to 6 units.
