The fourth ice-class tug "Kuloy" of project T3150-ZD was launched in Zelenodolsk

The emergency rescue vessel is designed for port operations

Shipbuilders of the Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant (Tatarstan) launched the ice-class tug "Kuloy". This is the fourth of five vessels of project T3150-ZD.

The multi-purpose emergency rescue vessel is designed for towing non-self-propelled vessels and floating structures, firefighting, and oil spill response. Project T3150-ZD was developed by specialists of OOO "Marine Engineering Center SPb" to ensure operation in ports and safety of vessels in ice conditions.

  • Draft — 3.9 m
  • Deadweight — 140 t
  • Displacement — 699 t
  • Speed — 14 knots

Vessels of project T3150-3D are operated by FGBU "Marine Rescue Service". Tugs "Verman", "Girvas" and "Oklan" were previously built in Zelenodolsk. The fifth — "Vel" is at the slipway stage of construction (hull welding and equipment installation).
