The modernized Lada Niva Legend with a 1.8-liter engine will be offered to customers in four trim levels. The lineup will include "Classic", "Drive", "Urban", and "Black Series Black" versions, reported "Lada Online" publication.
The "Classic" corresponds to the base version, followed by "Drive", then "Urban", and the top-tier option is the "Black Series Black".
The main change in the upcoming version is a more powerful 1.8 engine. The classic Niva Legend is sold with a 1.7 engine producing 83 hp. This powertrain has long been considered one of the model's main limitations.
Prices for the Niva Legend 1.8 have not yet been disclosed. However, the trim level structure itself suggests that AvtoVAZ will likely position the model below the Niva Travel.
