A new KAMAZ-52222 electric bus has started test operations on city route No. 3K in Volgodonsk. The testing process was observed by Andrey Zhuravlev, Deputy Head of the City Administration for Urban Economy, and Valery Yumaev, Director of MUP "Gorodskoy Passazhirsky Transport".

The KAMAZ-52222 electric bus is an improved version of the ten vehicles that have been operating on city routes since 2024. The new model is equipped with a domestic battery with a capacity of 250 kWh, and its range without recharging reaches 100 kilometers.

The low-floor design facilitates boarding, the pneumatic suspension adjusts to the slope of bus stops, and climate control ensures comfort in any weather. Based on the test results, priority models for procurement will be determined, taking into account passenger opinions.
