Simbirsk Design Bureau (SKB) "Piranha" (Ulyanovsk) plans to establish mass production of a high-speed interceptor drone in the near future. This was announced by a representative of the developing company at the HeliRussia 2026 exhibition, which is taking place in Moscow.
We have already demonstrated the final stage of the product. We have already passed all pre-flight tests.
Characteristics of the interceptor from SKB "Piranha":

- Cruising speed – 165 km/h
- Maximum speed – 275 km/h
- Weight with battery – 2800 g
The multicopter drone hits the target with an inertial impact without using a high-explosive fragmentation warhead. The development is designed to combat reconnaissance and attack UAVs of aircraft and copter types that operate at low and medium altitudes.
SKB "Piranha" products became known after the destruction of the first American M1 Abrams tank in February 2024. The combat vehicle was hit by the "Piranha-10" drone. Russian Armed Forces servicemen dubbed it the "tank killer".
