Russian luxury car manufacturer Aurus is preparing two premieres for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The updated Aurus Senat and Aurus Senat Long will be shown at SPIEF. The former has already been shown in its new look, and now a production version after extensive modernization will be brought to the forum.
The updated Aurus Senat has changed not only externally. The car's braking system, suspension, fuel delivery, and automatic transmission have been refined. The sedan received new prominent body details, and the interior features modern digital and electronic solutions.
Another premiere is the updated Aurus Senat Long. Previously, the extended version had not been shown to the general public. The car's body structure has changed: engineers abandoned the central insert between the front and rear doors. According to the company, this made the sedan's silhouette smoother and simplified access to the rear row.
Aurus has already used SPIEF for high-profile premieres. Last year, the forum showcased the large Arsenal minivan, close to a production version, and the Komendant SUV with Br4 class armor. However, the Arsenal is currently only used in the government's special purpose garage.
SPIEF-2026 will also be a significant automotive event for other brands. Earlier, it was reported that AvtoVAZ would also prepare an outdoor exhibition of historical, new, and sports cars for the forum. Among them, the Lada Niva Legend will also be shown.
