The Russian manufacturer of construction and road equipment UMG has launched a new generation TLB 945 backhoe loader, which, according to its characteristics, stands on par with European brands, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" was informed by the group of companies. The main innovations are an electronically controlled hydraulic system, a "chair-console" workstation, and excavator equipment with a curved boom. These solutions increase productivity and ease of operation in confined urban conditions.
Electric joysticks integrated into the armrests were installed in the operator's cabin. The seat, along with the consoles, rotates 180 degrees, providing equally comfortable seating when working with loading and excavating equipment.
The excavator equipment received a curved boom. It allows working through fences and adjacent structures, excavating soil, and loading closer to the machine's support contour. The loading equipment has been redesigned: the bucket is tilted by two hydraulic cylinders using a parallelogram linkage scheme. This automatically maintains the bucket's position at any lifting height and eliminates the need for a self-leveling system.
The machine is equipped with a YaMZ-336 diesel engine with a power of 73.5 kW and a working volume of 3.62 liters. The cooling system with increased heat dissipation allows operating the equipment in hot climates. The transmission allows shifting gears on the go without interrupting the power flow. The drive axles are equipped with self-locking differentials. The fuel tank has been increased to 160 liters and has an anti-corrosion coating. Increased diameter wheels (16.9x28) improve cross-country ability.
The cabin meets FOPS and ROPS safety requirements. The basic equipment includes a climate control system (air conditioner and heater), a hydraulic circuit, an excavator boom lock, and a loading boom safety stop.
The localization level of the TLB 945 exceeds 80%, which complies with the requirements of Resolution No. 719 and gives customers access to state support measures. A wide range of attachments is available for the machine: reversible forks, quick-change adapters, excavator buckets with a volume from 0.12 to 0.31 cubic meters. The equipment can be used in housing and communal services, urban landscaping, and road construction works.
