Yandex Go application has launched the rental of pleasure boats in St. Petersburg. Now users can book a vessel in advance for a trip along the city's rivers and canals – for example, for a celebration, a date, or a regular trip with a view of St. Petersburg from the water.
Initially, several dozen boats from partners are available in the service; their number is planned to increase later. Only the entire boat can be rented, not individual seats. The application features vessels with a capacity of up to 5, 7, and 9 passengers, including trips with children from two years old. The boats will be operated by captains with the necessary license category, and the vessels themselves must have a license and a ship's ticket.
You can order a trip from the main page of Yandex Go. The user selects the date, time slot from 10:00 to 23:00, and a convenient pier for boarding. The captain will draw up the route before the trip, taking into account the passengers' wishes, and the trip will end at the same pier from which it began.
The rental duration is from one to four hours. The minimum time for pre-ordering is half an hour, but the service advises booking a boat several days in advance to increase the likelihood of finding a suitable vessel for the desired time. After the captain is assigned, the information will appear in the application.
The rental cost starts from 9 thousand rubles and depends on the boat's capacity and the duration of the trip. The final price is displayed after selecting the date and duration, and after placing a pre-order, it does not change. Payment is only available cashless – within the Yandex Go application.
