New SKM M7 from AvtoVAZ spotted on a car carrier near Tolyatti

On the outskirts of Tolyatti, eyewitnesses filmed a car carrier with a new AvtoVAZ product – the commercial vehicle SKM M7, RCI News reports. Sales of the model began on May 18. The van and minivan are assembled at the VIS Auto facilities.

The SKM M7 is a licensed copy of the Chinese SRM Jinhaishi from Shineray (known for SWM brand cars and also cooperates with Kaliningrad's Avtotor). The van costs 2.86 million rubles, the minivan – 2.94 million.

The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 137 horsepower paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The drive is rear-wheel. The van's payload capacity is 715 kilograms, and the cargo compartment volume is 5 cubic meters.

The basic equipment includes air conditioning, front airbags, ABS and ESP systems, rear parking sensors, multimedia with a rearview camera, light and rain sensors, heated front seats and mirrors.

The SKM M7 occupies a niche between the Lada Largus and the GAZ Sobol NN. The model is already on its way to dealers, and it will be available in showrooms soon.
