Kazakhstan has started producing the T500 grain harvester for the first time. The production of the new model was organized by Rostselmash and the Kazrost Engineering plant in Kokshetau.
The decision to localize was made after assessing the needs of Kazakh farmers. The manufacturer believes that the T500 is particularly in demand in regions with intensive farming and high yields. The machine is designed for harvesting large volumes of grain and oilseeds with minimal losses.
The Kazrost Engineering plant, which has been cooperating with Rostselmash for more than ten years, became the production site. Since 2013, the plant has been producing VECTOR 410 and ACROS 550 combines. To launch the new model, the plant's employees underwent additional training, including practical training at the production site in Rostov-on-Don.
The enterprise has mastered the production of several key components and assemblies for the T500, including the feeder house, straw chopper, drive axle, elevators, and the upper structure of the grain tank.
The T500 belongs to the class of high-performance grain harvesting machines. The combine is equipped with a 360-horsepower YaMZ-537 engine and is capable of providing productivity of up to 30 tons per hour. The grain tank volume is 10 thousand liters, and the unloading speed reaches 120 liters per second, allowing a full tank to be unloaded in less than two minutes.
