Most Russians regret missed financial opportunities related to Bitcoin and currency. According to a survey by the financial marketplace "Sravni", whose results were reviewed by TASS, 58% of respondents named their biggest mistake as refusing to buy Bitcoin in the past. Another 29% of respondents regret not buying dollars at an exchange rate of 30 rubles.
A significant portion of respondents focused on mortgages: 19% stated that they would have taken advantage of the preferential program at 6.5% per annum. Meanwhile, 10% reported that they would have started saving money from their first salary, building capital. Only 9% of respondents would not change anything in their financial past.
The study was conducted using an online panel among 1.7 thousand Russians over 18 years old from all regions of the country.
The growth in Bitcoin's value, which has outpaced any traditional assets many times over in recent years, has created a persistent fear of missing out (FOMO) among mass investors, reinforced by regrets about the dollar at 30 rubles.
