Revolution in Combat UAVs: Every Second Drone Reaching the Enemy Was Equipped with "Kuznechik"

The system controls FPV, ground, and water platforms in two frequency bands

Alexander Barashkov, director of the Gagaring design bureau, spoke about the "Kuznechik" communication system developed by the company. According to him, the device has become one of the most mass-produced in its segment.

I can boast: probably every second drone that reached the enemy is a drone with "Kuznechik".
Alexander Barashkov, Director of KB "Gagaring"

The "Kuznechik" system is designed to control FPV drones, aircraft-type UAVs, as well as ground and water platforms. The transmitter can be connected to the remote control via the "Nit" extension or used as a repeater – for this, it is installed on the board of any receiver operating on the CRSF protocol.

The key feature is the ability to operate in one or two different frequency bands. The transmitter board provides space for installing two transmitting modules. The system's receivers support joint operation with automatic selection of the source of actual control signals.

The development is being carried out within the framework of import substitution and is aimed at Russian UAV operators. The system is already actively used in the zone of the special military operation.
