Moskvich dealers have started receiving Moskvich 3 crossovers with an updated interior, according to the Telegram channel "Avtopotok". The main change is physical climate control buttons instead of the previous touch panel. At the same time, the car received a new four-spoke steering wheel, unified with the JAC JS6 model. This is the second modernization of the model in the last two months: earlier, the crossover had its seat upholstery replaced with fabric and a new rear bumper installed.
The climate control unit with tactile switches is borrowed from the compact JAC JS3. Production of the Moskvich 3 has been carried out at the former Renault plant since November 2022, and since May 2024, it has been a full cycle with body welding and painting. Recommended prices for 2026 models start from 2,040,000 rubles.
The transition to button-operated climate control eliminates the main ergonomic drawback of the budget crossover – driver distraction by the touch screen – and synchronizes the equipment with Chinese donors. For the plant, this is a continuation of small-batch modernization, and in the future, a similar update awaits the flagship Moskvich 8.
