Roscosmos called full import substitution one of the main tasks in creating Russian satellites. The state corporation announced that the industry is transitioning to a new model of mass production of spacecraft.
The main goal is to achieve complete independence from foreign components and convert satellites to domestic microelectronics.
The most important priority has become ensuring technological sovereignty through the creation of onboard equipment based on domestic microelectronics.
The corporation explained that the new model provides for standardization and unification of devices. This should accelerate the production of satellites and simplify their serial production.
