Russian defense industry enterprises significantly increased their production over the year. By the end of 2025, production in the defense industry grew by 21%. These details were revealed by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov at the Congress of the Union of Machine Builders.
Despite the priority of supplies for the Ministry of Defense, enterprises continue to work on military-technical cooperation. In 2025, revenue in this area exceeded $15 billion.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated at a meeting on the state armament program that Russian defense industry enterprises are operating stably.
According to the head of state, since 2022, the production of communication equipment and electronic warfare systems in Russia has increased 12.5 times, personal body armor – 17.9 times, and weapons and ammunition – more than 22 times.
