Tenet T4L: Production of a new family crossover launched at the Kaluga plant

The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 147 hp

Full-scale production of the Tenet T4L crossover has been launched at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga. The launch was organized by the AGR holding and technology partner Defetoo as part of the expansion of the Tenet brand's product line.

The model is assembled using a full cycle at a high-tech facility with automated lines and digital quality control. Key production areas are integrated into a single system that complies with international industrial standards.

The Tenet T4L was designed with Russian roads and climate in mind. The body received enhanced protection: the underbody and hidden cavities are treated with wax and anti-corrosion compounds, and anti-gravel and anti-noise layers have been added. The car is equipped with a winter package, which includes remote start, heated front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield, and washer nozzles.

Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 147 hp. It is paired with a robotic gearbox with two "wet" clutches. This combination provides balanced dynamics with moderate fuel consumption.

The interior features a digital control zone: a dual 10.25-inch display for the instrument panel and on-board computer, plus a separate 8-inch touchscreen for climate control. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported, there are USB ports in the front and rear, and a six-speaker audio system with sound field adjustment.

Safety is ensured by ABS, ESC, tire pressure monitoring, 360° surround view, and parking sensors. Telematics services allow remote monitoring of the car's condition. The trunk holds 475 liters, and with the rear seats folded down, up to 1500 liters.
